These 33 lessons are based on six Discovering God's Word merit badges from the R•P•B Guidebook. The lessons help boys accomplish the requirements for these merit badges as part of the regular Bible lesson time. The counselor's edition contains all the teaching helps for the lessons. Again, Bible passages used in the lessons are included on both the work sheets and in the counselor's edition. This is a great resource toget your Cadets to dig deeper into these merit badges.

When a boy joins Cadets, he is expected to memorize the Cadet landmarks, a series of standards that he must attempt to live up to. Cadet landmarks include an emblem, a code, a hymn, a pledge, and a Bible verse.

It's one thing to memorize the landmarks; it's something else to understand what they mean and to do what they say. Now Cadets and counselors have help! The Cadet Corps has developed a set of 23 Bible lessons called Landmark Lessons. Each lesson has a handout sheet for the boy that includes appropriate Bible texts, a set of questions, and a challenge. The handouts are printed in full color, and include activities to capture the boy's interest. The counselor has additional aids, including answers to the questions and objectives for each lesson. These lessons designed primarily for the boys in the Recruit•Pathfinder•Builder program, and can be easily used by boys from the church or community.
