Preparations

Start making preparations so that you can attend Kamp Lone Pine in beautiful Central Alberta. It may seem like it's a long way off but there are plenty of things you should be working on to make sure that your Cadets won't miss this greatest of all cadeting adventures.

 

Check out the camporee requirements. There are merit badges to earn and a certification course to pass. And start working on fundraising for registration and travel expenses.

 

Where

The site is located in the beautiful sweeping plains of Central Alberta. Alberta is a province with a diverse landscape and when you come to Kamp Lone Pine you will get to experience many of it's natural wonders. The Camporee host committee already has plans for an exciting day away in the magnificent mountains of Western Alberta.

Travel to Camp

If you are flying, the airport destination if you want to be picked up and transported to the camp site is Calgary. No pick-ups from Edmonton.

$345.00 for both U.S. and Canadian campers

 

Registration

Registration forms will be in January and February Cadet Quest Magazines plus Winter Clarion Newsletter or you will be able to download the form from this page online after January 1, 2014

 

Certification

Counselors need to pass the Counselor Certification Course as well as the counselor portion of the Camporee Certification Course

 

Junior counselors need to pass the Junior Counselor Certification Course as well as the counselor portion of the Camporee Certification Course.

 

Cadets need to pass the Camporee Certification Course

Travel

Camporee committee will be transporting from Calgary airport, or if you're driving there will be an unloading area right at the campsite and an off-site parking area for your vehicle while at camp.
