This program is a continuation of the R•P•B program at a more advanced level.

3520 • Guide Trails Counselor's Manual provides the counselor with all the same introductory information as the Junior Cadet and R•P•B Counselor's Manuals along with aids for each of the Guide Trails booklets. It comes in a three-ring binder.

3001 • Guide Trails Guidebook is a tool for each boy in the Guide Trails program to organize and log his achievements. Guide Trails Project Booklets are similar to merit badges, but are much more advanced to challenge these older boys. They generally take 4–8 weeks to complete. Cadets can choose from the following project booklets:
