A letter from Joseph Richard, who runs a Cadet Club in Kampala, Uganda to independent club consultant, Bert Bakhuyzen.

 

Dear Br. Bert

How are you doing over there? Hope you are fine in the Lord, its my prayer that this email finds you well in the Lord! Amen.

We have also been busy here, as a church we had a conference for six days it was so successful, and on the other hand, there has been much rain distracting us and our meetings as cadet club but its coming to the end of the rainy season.

I managed to buy a football, and we have now two football team for the young boys of Cadet, as one of our activities, and I have attached photos and others photos showing how we started. There is a time when Br. Richard sent us some books to use them in our cadet club and in those pictures shows how we have been using those books in teaching to our young boys Cadet club here in Kampala.

We have also got someone who will be volunteering in training these young boys to play football, and its going to be a strong team and they will be participating with other teams. So pray for our team also.

Continue to pray for us and to have more materials which we can use to reach to young boys with the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ teaching them to live Christlike.
