Many churches are using their Cadet ministries to reach out to boys and young men, and, in turn, opening doors to whole households in their community. The witness of a Christian man can be a powerful thing in a boy’s life. The ministry of Cadeting, through it’s emphisis on social interaction, physical and mental development, and Biblical learning provides many ways to be a witness of Christ’s love. And the families of the boys can be brought into the church through the involvement of the boys.
To assist you in reaching out to the community, the Corps office has produced two postcards that can be mailed to the homes of your community. One is for promoting Junior Cadets (item no. 3531) and the other for the Recruit•Pathfinder•Builder program (item no. 3530). Your specific club information regarding date, time, and place of meetings can be filled in.
