2020 Congress Recap

The Calvinist Cadet Corps held its annual Congress in Grand Rapids, Michigan, January 9-11, 2020.

This annual meeting brought together nearly 100 representatives from councils across North America to discuss issues and make decisions regarding the business and direction of the Corps for the next year.

Committees met to focus on specific topics and bring their recommendations to the full Congress for approval, and elections for Executive Committee members also took place.

Regional Training Coordinators also met during this time to compare notes and make plans for training in the coming year.

Between meetings, congressmen gathered for food and fellowship, including meals, worship services, and a presentation from Cadets Executive Director Steve Bootsma.

This year we also celebrated the service of retiring staff member Bob deJonge.

Congress 2020 covered a wide range of topics and issues, and congressmen were able to encourage each other and the Corps in our mission to help boys become more Christlike in all areas of life. We are thankful to God for the work these men are doing, and pray for continued blessings on them and their Cadets.
