What to Know About Registering for the Cadet International Camporee

Registering for the Cadet International Camporee is an exciting step toward an unforgettable experience of fellowship, faith, and adventure. To help you prepare, here is a clear overview of how registration works and a few important details to keep in mind as you get started.

Where to Register

All Camporee registrations begin online at: camporee.calvinistcadets.org

On the site, you will see “REGISTER HERE” buttons for residents of Canada and the United States.

Why two registration forms? Because registration fees must be processed in Canadian dollars for Canadian participants and U.S. dollars for U.S. participants. Be sure to select the form that matches your country of residence.

Registration Cost and Payment Details

Deposit and Balance

When you register, a $100 deposit is required to secure your spot at Camporee. This deposit is non-refundable.

After registering, you will receive a personal contribution link that allows you or others, such as family members, your club, or your church, to contribute toward your registration fee.

The remaining balance will be charged automatically to the same card used for registration on April 15.

Paying by Club Funds or Check

If your club is paying for your registration or if you plan to pay by check, you must still complete the online registration form.

We strongly recommend submitting the $100 deposit to ensure you are registered. Any checks that are sent to and received by the appropriate Cadet Office before April 15 will be credited toward your remaining balance.

If paying the deposit online is not possible, your head counselor should contact the Cadet Office to request a Sponsor Code, which can be used to apply the appropriate discount during registration.

Financial Assistance

If cost is a concern, help is available through the Cornel Rylaarsdam Memorial Fund (CRMF).

The CRMF exists to help cover part or all of the Camporee registration fees for cadets and counselors who need assistance. Requests are reviewed by the International Camporee Steering Committee.

Refund Policy

Please review the refund policy carefully before registering:

  • $100 non-refundable deposit due at registration
  • Until May 15: Full refund minus the $100 deposit
  • Until July 1: 50% refund minus the $100 deposit
  • After July 1: No refunds

Required Signatures

Each registration type requires specific signatures as part of the approval process. These signatures are collected through the online registration form.

Cadets and Junior Counselors

Cadets and Junior Counselors must have a parent or legal guardian provide a signature. In most cases, this will be the same person completing the registration form.

Counselors

Counselors will need signatures from:

  • A fellow counselor
  • A church council member
  • A Cadet council board member

Staff Members

Staff members will need signatures from:

  • A reference counselor
  • A church council member

If you are unable to gather the required signatures while completing the online form, you may download, print, and mail the appropriate signature form to the Cadet Office.

Additional Required Forms

For registrations to be fully approved, Cadets, Junior Counselors, and Counselors must also submit their Camporee Certification Form to the Cadet Office.

Be sure to complete and send this form promptly to avoid delays in your registration approval.
