Standing Firm in Prayer: Calvinist Cadet Corps Congress

Each year, the Calvinist Cadet Corps gathers for Congress to seek God’s wisdom and direction for the ministry. This year, as we live out the theme Stand Firm, Congress serves as a reminder that standing firm is not something we do in our own strength. We stand firm by anchoring ourselves in God’s Word and by depending on Him through prayer.

While some will take part directly in discussions and decisions, Congress is not only an event for those in the room. It is an important moment for the entire Cadet community to pause, pray, and ask God to firmly establish the work done on behalf of boys, counselors, and churches.

What Is the Annual Congress?

Congress is the governing assembly of the Calvinist Cadet Corps. During this time, leaders prayerfully review the ministry’s work, discuss challenges and opportunities, and make decisions that help shape the future of Cadets. These conversations affect clubs, counselors, and boys across North America.

As leaders gather, the call to stand firm is central. Congress is an opportunity to reaffirm our commitment to Christ-centered discipleship and to remain faithful to the mission God has given the Calvinist Cadet Corps.

Standing Firm Through Prayer

Scripture calls us to stand firm in the faith, but it also reminds us that true wisdom and strength come from the Lord. Congress involves important conversations and decisions, yet unity, humility, and clarity can only be sustained through prayer.

As Congress approaches, we invite our supporters, churches, counselors, parents, and friends of the ministry to stand firm with us by lifting this time up in prayer. Your prayers are a vital part of how God continues to guide and protect this ministry.

Please pray that:

  • God would firmly root every discussion in His Word
  • Leaders would stand firm in faith, humility, and love
  • Unity would prevail even when difficult topics are addressed
  • Decisions would honor Christ and strengthen the ministry for future generations

Standing Firm Together

Standing firm does not always look like action. Often, it looks like faithful prayer. Even if you are not directly involved in Congress, your prayerful support strengthens the work being done.

Thank you for standing firm with the Calvinist Cadet Corps in prayer. We trust that God will continue to lead, provide, and bless this ministry as we seek to serve Him faithfully.
