The Adventure of a Lifetime Awaits at Kamp Longview
The countdown is on!
From July 15-22, 2026, hundreds of Cadets and counselors from across North America and beyond will gather in the breathtaking mountains of Alberta, Canada, for the 2026 Cadet International Camporee: Kamp Longview.
For many boys, Camporee is more than just a camping trip. It’s an experience they’ll remember for the rest of their lives.
What Makes Camporee So Special?
Imagine spending a week surrounded by towering mountain peaks, clear streams, and endless opportunities for adventure. Now imagine sharing those experiences with friends from your club and meeting Cadets from churches across the United States and Canada.
At Kamp Longview, boys will have the opportunity to:
- Explore the beauty of God’s creation in the foothills of the Canadian Rockies
- Put their outdoor skills into practice in real-world settings
- Enjoy hiking, rafting, target sports, and other exciting activities
- Participate in service projects that make a difference
- Build friendships that can last for years
- Grow in their faith through daily devotions, worship, and fellowship
It’s a week filled with challenge, discovery, and fun.
A Life-Changing Experience for Boys
Camporee gives boys the opportunity to take what they’ve learned in Cadets and apply it in a new environment. The skills they’ve practiced throughout the year become tools for adventure, teamwork, and service.
Whether navigating a trail, preparing a meal with fellow Cadets, or helping complete a service project, boys gain confidence as they discover what they’re capable of accomplishing together.
Just as importantly, Camporee creates space for boys to grow spiritually. Surrounded by Christian mentors, friends, and the beauty of God’s creation, they are encouraged to deepen their faith and continue Living for Jesus in their daily lives.
Counselors: Get Ready for a Week of Impact
For counselors, Camporee offers a unique opportunity to invest deeply in the lives of the boys they serve.
Away from the routines and distractions of everyday life, meaningful conversations often happen around campfires, on hiking trails, and during shared experiences. These moments can leave a lasting impact on both boys and counselors.
Many counselors return home encouraged by the growth they see in their Cadets and grateful for the opportunity to serve alongside fellow leaders.
Parents: Your Son Will Come Home With More Than Memories
Parents often ask if Camporee is worth it.
The answer is simple: absolutely.
Your son will return home with stories to tell, friendships strengthened, and memories that will last for years. He’ll also spend a week surrounded by Christian role models who care about his spiritual growth and well-being.
Camporee combines adventure, faith, fellowship, and personal growth in a way few other experiences can.
Mountains of Blessing Await
The theme for Kamp Longview is “Mountains of Blessing,” inspired by Psalm 125:2:
“As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds his people both now and forevermore.”
Throughout the week, Cadets and counselors will be reminded that just as the majestic mountains surround them, God’s love, protection, and faithfulness surround His people every day.
The mountains of Alberta provide a remarkable backdrop for experiencing this truth firsthand.
How You Can Pray
As preparations continue, we invite you to join us in prayer.
Pray for safe travels for every Cadet, counselor, and volunteer. Pray for strong friendships to be formed and strengthened. Pray for favorable weather, successful activities, and opportunities for boys to grow in confidence and character.
Most importantly, pray that God will use Kamp Longview to draw boys closer to Him. May they see His power in the mountains, His creativity in creation, and His faithfulness in every moment of the week.
The Countdown Continues
Whether you’re a Cadet preparing for your first Camporee, a counselor making final plans, or a parent helping your son get ready, the excitement is building.
Adventure awaits.
Friendships await.
Memories await.
Most importantly, opportunities to experience God’s blessings await.
